Linfield prepare for semi finals

A MASSIVE couple of games lie ahead of Linfield over the next few days with Irish Cup and Setanta Sports Cup semi finals to be played tomorrow (Saturday) and on Monday respectively.

The Blues, looking to capture a magnificent treble with the league all but secure, will face Coleraine at the Oval tomorrow in the JJB Sports Irish Cup semi-final, before they host Bohemians at Windsor Park on Monday night in the Setanta Sports Cup second leg, where they trail 2-1 on aggregate but hold a crucial away goal.

Linfield will be without striker Mark McAllister for tomorrow's fixture. The forward is suspended for two matches after being sent-off in the game against Institute last month.

The winners of Saturday's semi-final, which kicks off at 12.30pm, will face Portadown, who beat Ballymena United 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw, in the decider on May 8.

Linfield's tie with Bohemians will kick off at 7.45pm on Monday.
