Hilden had to settle for two points when they lost by 24 shots away to Ards in Private Greens Senior 2.

Jonathan McMullan snatched one of the wins when he was three down at the last end but cut it to two and won by a shot.

Maurice Kirkwood was the other winner, just having the edge throughout to win by four shots.

Colin Montgomery needed a last end double to tie but could only manage a single.
