Crossgar will travel to Rockmount next week to try and reverse the result.

Sunday April 14: The Ulster Fourball team, in a hastily rearranged match venue travelled to Down Royal Golf Club.

Team Captain Brendan Houston was optimistic of a good result.

The wind on this very exposed course made shot execution and club selection very difficult.

The match was very evenly contested and finished 2.1/2 each, however Down Royal hold a six hole advantage.

The return leg at Rockmount Golf Club will be on Sunday 28th April 2013.
