Rockmount Golf Club celebrates 20 years of successful golf and catering
The parkland course on Drumalig Road, Carryduff was the dream of joint proprietors and avid golfers Robert and Diane Patterson.
The course and club house were opened on May 8 1995 by European tour professionals Darren Clarke and Raymond Burns, television sports presenter Mark Robson and joint proprietor Robert Patterson.

Darren playing with Robert beat Raymond playing with Mark 2&1; with Darren setting the course record at 72 on his first attempt to play the course.
After an entertaining spectacle over the eighteen holes, Darren Clarke formerly declared the course and clubhouse open.
Mark Robson then completed a question and answer session with Darren and Raymond before a charity auction raised in excess of £5000 divided between Saintfield Cancer Research and the Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke Association.
