PGA Pro coaches at new Golf Academy at Down Royal Park

The pay and play course has, with the assistance of PGA Professional Golf Coach Dougie Bell, developed a range of teaching courses and sessions available to all lady, men and juvenile golfers.

Dougie is a highly experienced coach who trained in Scotland and qualified in 2000. Since then, he has had an exciting career in golf, working and learning from some of the leading coaches in the Netherlands and Italy before moving to London to work for the largest Golf Academy in Europe.

Since his move to Northern Ireland in 2005, Dougie has been coaching golfers from beginner level through to current international players and fellow professionals. Combined with this, he also is the Regional Coach for the Irish Ladies Golf Union.

Dougie can assist golfers of all abilities through individual tuition and group lessons. Keen to promote the development of junior golf, he is in conjunction with Down Royal Park running a number of junior golf schools this summer and throughout the year.

Dougie’s expertise and skill combines physical and mental techniques plus specialised swing tuition combined with spatial awareness and balance.

With a fantastic approach to golf and appreciation of the superb facilities available at Down Royal Park Golf Course, you can progress from the Meadow’s Pitch & Putt through to the nine hole valley par three course and eventually enjoy the challenge of the 18 Hole Classic Course, Par 72.

Golf at Down Royal Park Golf Course is open to all, seven days a week.
