Mark is Juvenile Captain at Dunmurry

DUNMURRY Golf Club’s Juvenile section recently held their Annual General Meeting.

Many juveniles were in attendance to see Club Captain Tom Millar, present Juvenile Captain Mark Casey, and Fred Daly Captain Darragh O’Neill, with their Club sweaters to mark the occasion.

Autumn League winners, Darragh O’Neill and Chris Morgan were presented with their trophies, and Honours sweaters were presented to Chris Morgan, Peter Morgan, Dan Turley, Jarlath McCotter and Gareth Shirlow for reaching a handicap of 9 or below.

Mark Casey is Dunmurry Golf Club’s Juvenile Captain for 2012.

Mark has been a member of Dunmurry for four years. A keen golfer, you would always see Mark down practicing his putting and chipping. Playing of a 12 handicap he has showed great enthuasism and talent for the game. This has led him to represent Dunmurry on numerous occasions.

We wish Mark the very best of success for his year ahead.

Darragh O’Neill is Dunmurry’s Fred Daly Captain for 2012.

Darragh is 17 and plays off a handicap of 11. He has represented Dunmurry in the Fred Daly competition over the last two years and has performed admirably. These performances and good leadership skills are what earned him The Fred Daly Captaincy.

Darragh is looking forward to this year’s Fred Daly Competition and he hopes he can lead Dunmurry to victory. We all wish Darragh and Dunmurry the best of luck.
