Whites sign young striker Kernaghan

Lisburn Distillery have added to their squad for next season after they signed young striker Johnny Kernaghan.

Whites’ boss Tommy Kincaid signed the former Loughgall striker at the end of last week.

Johnny scored nine goals in pre-season, Bob Radcliffe Cup and Championship 1 games before being injured last season.

Thanking well wishers on his Twitter account, Kernaghan said it was a ‘big season’ for him.

In other Whites’ news, the first phase of tidying up the ground for the new season will be held tomorrow (Saturday).

The ground will be open from 11am to 3pm and the club would ask as many supporters to come along and help with the work that is required. Should the day be wet, there is still plenty of work to be done in the main stand, and supporters who can come along are asked to bring buckets, sponges, cloths, brushes and paintbrushes. The club thank those who can help with the first phase of work.
