Sporting knock out Ballymacash

SPORTING Lisburn knocked Ballymacash YM out of the Supplementary Cup with a 4-2 quarter final win on Tuesday night.

On target for the winners were Michael McKee 2, Jason Hamilton and Matty Patton.

Braniel YM also had a 4-2 win over Sandy Row with goals from Rutherford 2, Young and Laverty.

Belvoir FC reached the semi-finals with a 4-1 win at home to Ballynafeigh YM. There were three penalties awarded, two to Belvoir, and Dale Thompson scored one for Ballynafeigh who had their keeper sent off in the first-half.

Thursday night games in the Supplementary Plate resulted in a 2-0 win for Glenavy III over FC Utd Lisburn in Group A and 5-3 for South Antrim against Belvoir II. Goals for Josh Murphy, Gareth Johnston, Andrew Robinson, Jamie McAdams and Kris Kilcunen.

In Group B Orangefield OB III beat Cregagh Wanderers 4-0 with goals for Chris Sloan, James McCormick, Tony Craig and Gareth Wright.
