Hillsborough reach two Supplementary Cup finals

Hillsborough Boys have reached two Supplementary Cup finals in the Lisburn Junior Invitational League

They won through in the under-15 Supplementary Cup on Monday night with a 3-0 win over Windmill Stars.

They followed this up on Wednesday night in the under-14 semi-finals by beating Tollymore Utd 4-3 in a thriller and will play TTBS, who beat Chimney Corner Youth 2-0, in the final.

Lisburn Distillery Youth caused an upset on Wednesday night before being involved in a shock result themselves.

Their under-15s had a shock 1-0 win over the high-flying and potential League winners, Portadown Youth, but the Whites under-17s surprisingly lost 1-2 to Banbridge Town B.

Decision day tomorrow

It is decision day in the Lisburn Junior Invitational League tomorrow (Saturday) for several teams.

The under-13 match between Hillsborough Boys and Camlough Rovers will decide the runners-up spot in the League.

Windmill Stars v Lisburn Youth u14 will decide first and second place and Portadown Youth need a point against Ballyclare Colts to win the 15s League.

The final of the under-16 Cup will be played tonight (Friday) at Ballymacash Rangers ground, 7pm, between Lurgan Celtic Youth and Carrick Rangers.
