Football fever as Whites are set to host family fun day next month

The event will take the form of a Festival of Football coupled with an interactive Health Fair both of which are working hand in hand to promote a healthy and wholesome lifestyle for all.

The football will feature a cross community mini soccer competition featuring clubs from across the locality.

There will also be footballing skills competitions, penalty shoot outs and the Lisburn Distillery senior men’s team will also be playing a match against St.Patricks.

In relation to the health fair, the day will feature Free Sports massages, a three minute workout routine, Free blood pressure checks and a range of Healthy food options.

Elsewhere, various mental health agencies will be on hand to offer advice on their services.

Also happening to complement both events will be Cafe LDFC where attendees can grab some lunch or a simple cup of tea.

Meanwhile for the younger children there will be a bouncy castle and treasure hunt on the day.

The club will also be handing out free season tickets for Under 16’s, so if you are interested in following the fortunes of the Whites this season then what better way to do just that.

Admission to the event is free until 2.15pm.
