Dreary week for Dromore

Dromore failed to take so much as a point at home to Whitehead B in NIBA Division Two on Tuesday night.

They did a little better on Saturday when gaining two points against Balmoral B, but it was a bad week for the locals.

Their two wins came from S. G. Malcolmson and Gavin Clinghan.

Meanwhile, Dromore B took five points from a 11.75 shots home win over First Ballymac in NIBA Division Five.

Level 7-7 at the tenth and 13-9 ahead at 15 ends, Sammy Malcolmson failed to score again and lost by 11 shots.

Ahead 12-8 at the tenth but level 18-18 after 15 ends, Tom Sudlow came back to win by eight shots.

At the tenth, Rodney Malcolmson was 8-3 ahead and 17-6 at 15 ends and when the opposition were quartered, Dromore won by 15.75 shots.

Level 7-7 at the tenth Alan Sudlow was 13-12 up at 15 ends but Dromore lost by a shot in a closely contested game.
