This result keeps Garvey clear of the bottom two places and they will hope to move further up the table.

Ken Armstrong lost 9-31, Alton Reid won 21-17, Jim Chapman won 21-20, Denis Rankin won 23-15.

Dromore B brought seven points home from Donaghadee B and are now bang in the promotion chase from Division 5 of the NIBA League.

Ahead 13-5 at the tenth and 24-5 five ends later Sammy Malcolmson went on to win by 25 shots.

It was 7-7 at the tenth but Ken Aiken edged it 14-13 at 15 ends and ended up with a three shots win.

In front 8-7 at the tenth and 15-9 at 15 ends Colin Houston scored a seven shots win.

Jim Kinkead was 4-17 down at the tenth and 9-19 but he won four of the last five ends though losing by three shots.

Down 5-15 at the tenth and 7-28 at 15 ends Jeff Fawcus lost by 21 shots.
