Lisburn ‘turfed’ out of Cup

LISBURN and Derriaghy both crashed out of the Clubturf Ulster Cup at the weekend.

Lisburn fell at the home of formidable Donemana while Derraighy lost away to Strabane.

Details:

Strabane beat Derriaghy by seven wickets, Derriaghy 215-8 (C Lewis 65, A Kerr 42 no, T Barr 3-40), Strabane 216-3 (37.5 overs, P Gillespie 112 no, M Jennings 2-28).

Donemana beat Lisburn by eight wickets. Lisburn 240-7 (D Brown 65, D Simpson 64 no, Andy McBrine 4-44), Donemana 241-2 (31 overs, K Sajjid 107 no, Andy McBrine 68 no).

Lisburn II 150, Ards 76 (D Suffern 4-18, M Foster 4-24), Lisburn II won by 74 runs.
