Ervine appeal upheld for Lisburn

LISBURN’S appeal against the de-registration of Craig Ervine has been upheld.

The NCU committee overturned their decision to block him playing for Lisburn this season on Tuesday night.

They found that they had no grounds to do so and Craig is now fully eligible to take his place in the Lisburn team against Ballymena this Saturday.

The decision is a relief for the club as his talent could do a lot to help Lisburn’s performance in the Premier League. Having lost their opening match against Instonians last weekend, they hope now to get back to winning ways with a strengthened side.
