Byrnes Hawks swoop in for the Three-A-Sides title

Byrnes Hawks were crowned winners of the Three-A-Sides competition in the Alexanders Lisburn and District Dart League last week.

Comprising on N McCabe, K Camobell and J Wilson, they saw off the stiff challenge of Marketview Bs in the decider.

As many as 27 teams competed for the top prize. In the quarter-finals, the Hawks saw off Ballymacash Twos while Byrnes Eagles beat The Crows Twos, Ballymacash Ones beat Byrnes Wasps and Marketview Bs beat Ballinderry Town.

In two semi-finals that brought regular scores of 100+, it was the Hawks that edged past their pub-mates the Byrnes Eagles while Marketview managed to get the better of their opponents Ballymacash Ones.

With that, the final line-up was decided and it took some superb darts from the experienced Byrnes Hawks players to see off a Marketview B team made up of R Dean, D Jordan and P Burns.
