The home side took the plaudits in this fixture with wins for D Johnston (120, 21 darts), B Jackson (100, 122, 22 darts), C Waterworth (100, 140), G Lyttle, M Guy (2x100, 21 darts) and D Scott (2x100, 123, 24 darts).

M Thompson (100), F Jamison (100), D Taylor (100) and P Ridge (100) all responded in vain for Anvil.

HIGHWAYMEN 5-5 DERRIAGHY CC

This clash finished all square with S Willis (140), J Bishorek (2x100, 17 darts), C Willis (100, 125), B Flanagan (140) and W Cameron (2x100) winning for the Highwaymen.

Derriaghy’s W Cherry (100), J Millen Jnr (100, 22 darts), T Terrington (100, 140) I Toole (100) and D Lowry (24) levelled it up.

Beattie couldn’t stop Benmore with only B McCallister (100) winning for the visitors.

C Kane (100, 121), G Walker (100), T Skelton (2x100), S Thompson (100), A Adams (100, 23 darts), R Somerville (100, 23 darts), R McClean (100, 140), S Briggs and R Hamilton ran out as winners for the hosts.

HILLSBOROUGH A 6-4 BLEACHERS

W Bryans, R Morgan (105), J Murray, D Gibson, B McAfee and D Holden took the points for Hillsborough A, while B Gorman (125), P Smith, C Nixon (100) and J McMullan responded for the Bleachers.

BORDERERS 5-5 FIRST BLUES

W Warnock, A Blair, C Simpson, M Kelly and M Cairns (140, 24 darts) earned a share of the points for Borderers with P Smyth, D Toole (125, 23 darts), G Bell, S Childs and J Jones all winning.

SANDYMOUNT 5-5 WHITES

This was another draw with G McCambley (122), J McCambley, J Neill (2x100), R Kemp and M Wood being held by the Whites, whose winners were J Brown, J Robson (23 darts), A Moulds (2x100, 140, 17 darts), W Moulds (132) and H Moulds.

- Lisnagarvey Darts League will hold their Charity Cup individual tonight (Friday) in the Hilden bowling rooms with an 8.30pm start. The entrance fee is £3 and competitors can pay on the night.
