Another seven for Hillsborough

Hillsborough Social lifted another seven points in Section A of the Roy Kennedy Fuels Lisburn Indoor Bowling League when they won by 25 shots at home to Soldierstown.

After starting with a three, Nathan Haire added three and five to lead 15-1 with two ends left, Singles were exchanged with David Johnston.

At the sixth Jim Johnston was 7-3 ahead but Robert Sloan lifted three and five to lead 11-7 before dropping a double.

At the fourth M. McDonald was 5-1 ahead but two threes helped Michael Beattie to an 8-5 lead at the seventh. Soldierston lifted a four but Social finished with a double to win by a shot.

A five and a three helped Nick Haire to a 10-1 lead at the fifth and though John Mackey added a double and finished with a double but Social also added two to win by seven shots.
