Wallace High secures funding from NationalScience Learning Centre

Wallace was selected for its commitment to the professional development of science teachers through training provided by the centre. This has delighted chemistry teachers Miss Bamberry and Dr McMath who put together the proposal and will be leading the venture.

An initial cluster group has been set up which includes Wallace High School, Moira Primary, Wallace Preparatory Department and Pond Park Primary.

Through a collaborative approach they will focus on the development of science teaching and learning to ensure that the teachers involved in both the primary and secondary sectors obtain the necessary knowledge, competencies and training.
