Two men due in court over drugs charges

Detectives from reactive and organised crime have charged two men aged 33 and 46 with the importation of class A drugs and possession of class A drugs with intent to supply after a drugs seizure in Hillsborough this week.

Both men are due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court today, (Wednesday, February 24).

The charges relate to the seizure of £4,000 worth of heroin in Hillsborough, on Monday, February 22.

Detective Inspector Andy Dunlop, from Reactive and Organised Crime Branch, said of the drugs find: “The small packages which are the size of table tennis balls and wrapped in small plastic bags have been recovered as part of ongoing search activity. Our enquiries are continuing.”
