Traffic warning for Lisburn half marathon

The Lisburn half marathon is taking place and as a result, traffic diversions will be put in place from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

“Drivers using routes to and from Lisburn City Centre today are advised that an alternative route will be necessary due to the Lisburn half marathon,” said a police statement.

“There will be delays in the vicinity of Lagan Valley Hospital however this will not affect the travel of emergency vehicles.

“Traffic management measures will be put in place around the city for the duration of the marathon.”
