Tilly celebrates 99th birthday
Lagan Valley MLA Brenda Hale took time out of her busy schedule to call with one of her local constituents last week, who is celebrating a very special birthday.
Mrs Hale delivered flowers and a birthday card to Matilda McCready, fondly known as ‘Tilly’, who celebrated her 99th birthday on Sunday January 24.
Tilly now lives with close family in the Dromore area.
“I was privileged to be able to call with David Ferguson and meet with his Aunt Tilly this week, to wish her a very happy 99th birthday,” said Mrs Hale.
“We enjoyed a chat and she was able to tell me about her upbringing and how times have changed.
“I wish her continued good health and God’s blessing.”
