Teenager killed in Lisburn crash named

THE name of the teenager who died after the car he was driving was involved in a collision with another vehicle in Lisburn has been released by police.

Christopher McCloskey, 17, from Glenavy, died in the accident which took place on the Glenavy Road at about 3.20pm on Wednesday afternoon.

A 59-year-old man was taken to hospital after the collision. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
