The annual summer fair at The Ballance House, Glenavy, will take place on Saturday 23 July from 12noon – 4pm.
There will be a market selling a range of local art and crafts and musical entertainment from Hillsborough musician Peter Elliott.
A spokesperson said: “The very popular Tombola has a great range of prizes. Kids’ activities include clay modelling with Jumping Clay, wildlife fun with the RSPB, face painting and crafts. The restored farmhouse Parlour will be open with a guide on hand to tell you about John Ballance’s birthplace.
“Refreshments will be served in the tea barn.
“Due to roadworks, visitors coming from Lisburn may need to take the Pond Park Road leading to Sheepwalk Road before joining the Glenavy Road.
Admission is £5 for adults and £2 for children (under 5s free) and includes a bowl of strawberries with cream or ice cream.
All proceeds go to the Ulster New Zealand Trust for upkeep of The Ballance House.
