LEN is a local business network funded and managed by Lisburn City Council which offers practical information sessions aimed at addressing key business issues and promoting local business development.

This final event was a joint event held in conjunction with the other local business network managed by Lisburn City Council, InterAct, Lisburn’s female entrepreneur’s network.

This event was a fitting way to end a very successful year; and saw representatives of over fifty small businesses based in the Lisburn area gather together to hear from guest speakers Andrew Dobbin founder of The Business Mindset and Billy Dixon, a personal development and motivational speaker.

LEN usually meets for a breakfast seminar style event on the last Thursday of every month and Alderman Allan Ewart, Chairman of the Council’s Economic Development Committee, speaking about the year’s events, said: “Since last September LEN has held a number of events addressing topics of interest to small businesses within the Council area.

“These have included: the benefits of CRM systems, social media, tax tips, what the Bank of England budget means for small businesses, how to increase sales, as well as time management tips.

“The experts that have spoken at the LEN events primarily gave their advice and time to the local business free of charge and I would like to thank them for their services on behalf of the Council.

“I would also like to thank the many local businesses who have supported LEN and who regularly attend the monthly meetings.”
