Storyteller Fran comes to Lisburn

LISBURN Taletellers welcomes Fran O’Boyle for an evening of storytelling in Lisburn City Library on Wednesday, November 28, at 8pm.

Fran is a professional storyteller and illustrator.

Over the years, he has perfected his storytelling art in all sorts of venues such as, schools, libraries, festivals, village events, prisons and stately homes and gardens and he is delighted to visit Lisburn City Library.

During this storytelling event, Fran will transport you from your seat in the library to a woodland glade, mountain top, haunted house or to a sunlit garden and take you to the gentle places where myth, legend and reality become one.

Having worked on literacy projects, story walks and private parties for all ages, and situations, Fran can bring you stories in an entertaining and professional manner.

Fran has also illustrated a number of books, both in English and Irish, the most recent of these being ‘Shropshire Ghost Stories’ written by Sally Tonge with photography by Philip J Jones and an illustrated telling of the life of St. Patrick (Irish language book).

Everyone is welcome to this evening event. Admission is £5 and booking is essential.
