Stepping Stones celebrates trainees’ catering success

FOUR Stepping Stones trainees have been selected as competitors in Ireland’s premier catering event - the IFEX Culinary Awards.

This event see chefs from all over Ireland coming together to compete against each other, not to mention some International teams from Canada, Iceland and Italy. The standards are rising each year and this year is set to be the most competitive yet. Each competitor has 45 minutes to prepare two plated main courses of their choice and the range of dishes is extraordinary.

Stepping Stones Chief Officer Paula Jennings commented: “We are thrilled that 4 of our trainees and clients have been selected as competitors in these prestigious awards. This reflects not only the passion and dedication of our trainees but of the staff in our coffee shops and their external mentors.”
