Stepping Stones a centre of excellence

SEVEN trainees from Stepping Stones NI have just completed their city and guilds course ‘Personal Progression through Employment’ in March.

The course is for individuals who aspire to employment, mapping out the process and preparing the individuals for mock interviews leading to real interviews, maintaining work placements, how to work with other people, knowing and understanding their individual rights and responsibilities and those of others, C.V writing and health and safety in the workplace.

Trainee Daniel Hamilton said: “Stepping Stones are looking for a job for me and doing this course is going to help me get work.”

Helen Jelly Stepping Stones training Coordinator said: “The trainees have worked so hard and they have all achieved so much, but most of all they have enjoyed doing this course.”

The external verifier from City and Guilds said ‘An excellent standard overall is evident’.”
