Standard house price in Lisburn and Castlereagh is £149k

The standard price of a house in Lisburn and Castlereagh increased by 4.5% in 2016.

Land & Property Services assisted by the Northern Ireland Statistics & Research Agency released the House Price Index report for Quarter 4 2016.

The figures revealed that the standardised price of a house in Lisburn at the end of the last quarter of 2016 was £149,600. However this was slightly down from the previous quarter.

The Index measures change in the price of residential property sold in Northern Ireland (NI). The Index uses stamp duty information on residential property sales recorded by HMRC.

The NI House Price Index series is used as the NI component of the single official UK HPI and the statistics are comparable with other UK regions.
