Sprucefield set to host classic car display

BANBRIDGE Old Vehicle Club’s fifth Annual Charity Classic Car Display, in conjunction with ‘drive it day’, will be held in the lower car park of Sprucefield Shopping Centre on Sunday, April 22 between 12 noon and 5pm.

Once again this event is a fund raiser for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice and is sponsored by McDonalds Restaurant.

Up to 200 cars are expected to assemble from 10.30am onwards. Already promised are a host of specials such as Aston Martin, Lagonda, Bently, Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Lotus, BMW, Volvo, Triumph, MG, Austin Healey, Vauxhall, Moris, Austin, Hillman, Riley, Morgan and many more.

As there is no minimum age limit for entries to this display the organisers are encouraging owners of competition and exotic cars to join the normal vintage and classic cars for the day. While entry is free your donation to the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice will be gratefully appreciated.
