Catherine Cahill, Brand Manager Eason, said: “Last year’s Spelling Bee saw record numbers of entries from schools across Northern Ireland and we’re hoping to break that record again this year. The spelling ability of the kids in Northern Ireland is outstanding and we’re delighted to once again launch this truly worthwhile initiative. We wish all aspiring spellers the best of luck this year.”

Each school will put forward one student to take part in the County Finals competing to be the County Winner.

The winners from each county will then take part in the Provincial Finals with the four provincial winners competing in the All-Ireland Final in RTE HQ in June.

All schools that enter will receive an Eason Spelling Bee Dictionary and will be entered into a draw to win a £600 Gift Card.
