Six arrests made by police

Lisburn police were kept busy during the early hours of Monday morning (January 8).

Six arrests were made in the area during the course of the night, including three for affray, which occurred in Lisburn City Centre.

A further three arrests were made for domestic burglary, which is believed to have occurred in Moira.

All suspects remained in custody during the night and police officers conducted follow up enquiries regarding these incidents throughout the day on Monday.

As well as these incidents, officers in Lisburn dealt with a number of other calls, including a number of noisy parties in the area.
