Shot fired during Lisburn cash van robbery

TWO masked men fired a shot and escaped with a cash box after threatening guards near a cash-in-transit van at Longstone Street in Lisburn around midday on Thursday.

The vehicle's security guards were not injured but were left shaken by the ordeal.

The robbers escaped in a red Hyundai car and may have transferred to a white van shortly afterwards.
