Seniors support group to hold information event

GREATER Lisburn Seniors Together is a new community support network set up to support older people’s groups and individuals in the Greater Lisburn area.

The network is made up of local volunteers, aged over 50, who live and work in the Greater Lisburn area, supporting older people.

GLST is holding an Information Morning on Friday May 25 at 11.00am in the Bridge Community Centre to let you know more about the work and how they can support you. The morning will be informal and will give you the opportunity to meet their members and will also give them the opportunity to hear more about your work.

The AGM will be held on Friday June 8 at 10.30am in the Bridge Community Centre and organisers would encourage you to come along to support the work and to offer your input but more importantly to consider becoming a committee member in order to help make a difference for older people living in our communities.
