Roadworks welcomed
LAGAN Valley MLA Paul Givan and Downshire Councillor Paul Stewart have welcomed news that Roads Service will invest heavily in road improvement works within Dromara and Ballykeel.
The investment of over £150,000 includes improvement works at Ballykeel and major resurfacing works on the Hillsborough Road, Dromara and the Howe Road/Leapoges Road junction.
Mr Givan said: “The improvement of a busy junction at Ballykeel crossroads coupled with the resurfacing of a large stretch of the Hillsborough Road, Dromara will greatly improve the driving experience for local commuters along these major routes.”

Hide AdCouncillor Stewart added: “I am pleased that following many representations and persistent lobbying, Roads Service has undertaken to commit a significant sum of money to improve the Howe Road/Ballynahinch Road junction and to resurface Nicholson’s Crossroads and the Hillsborough Road, Dromara.”
