Penelope’s is named your Salon of the Year

Penelopes Nails & Beauty has been named the Ulster Star Salon of the Year 2014.

Star Readers voted in their droves for the local business based in Longstone Street.

Proprietor Penny Dougherty said she was “absolutely thrilled” when she heard the great news.

“I am delighted and so grateful that my clients took the time to vote for us,” said Penny. “I have a great team and without them this award wouldn’t be possible.

“We have a great work ethic and it makes all of our hard work worthwhile when we get awards like this as we know our clients are happy,” added Penny, whose business is the exclusive stockist of the Bronze Leaf tan in the area and also stocks top brands Dermologica and Senna makeup.

Penny a mother of one, lives in Ballyclare but has been based in Lisburn since she set up her business 15 years ago.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted for us,” said Penny.

She continued: “It’s fantastic to have won the award and I’m very proud of the team.

“I want to thank all our clients for their support and look forward to welcoming new clients to the salon.”
