Pearson continues to recover at home in Lisburn

Local motorcyle racer Michael Pearson is continuing to recover and is at home in Lisburn.
Willis Marshall and Kym Louise Mullholland who presented Michael Pearson with a Recovery Fund cheque for £1,600 recently. The doctors in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast decided not to operate on his broken hip as it is starting to mend on its own which was good news for Michael.

Michael is still in considerable pain and is able to get around on crutches albeit very slowly.

It is the local racing stars aim firstly to recover and try and maintain as near as normal daily lifestyle, although this will take some time.

It is very much a case of one day at a time. He has lost some weight which he should regain in the coming days and weeks.

As to Michael’s future within motorcycling, he alone will make that decision when the time right.

Michael was recently presented with a cheque for £1,600 which was raised from the Recovery Fund set up in aid of the local racer.
