Commenting on the event, Lisburn PCSP Chairman, Councillor Brian Bloomfield said: “I would encourage the business community across the Lisburn City Council area to come along and support this event.”

Lisburn Area Commander Chief Inspector Mark Robinson said: “Our retailers are operating in a very tough economic environment at present and it is really important that they know how to best protect themselves against any unnecessary losses.”

“The event will provide retailers with the most up to date, relevant retail crime prevention advice as well as information on the latest criminal tactics, scams and frauds being reported to police across Northern Ireland.

“Lisburn is a vibrant, welcoming and safe city and by working together, we can help ensure that our local economy continues to thrive and we attract even more shoppers and visitors into our city.”
