RE the letter ‘Keep Lisburn Neutral Shopping Area’.

As someone who was born and bred in Lisburn and also born into the Catholic religion I can say in the 53 years I have lived here never have I been a second class citizen and never has anyone made me feel like one.

As for the UDR memorial, I welcome it and it will make no difference to the decent people of Lisburn.

To the letter writer I would say - let your family and friends take their three wallets and four purses and go where you want to go.

I don’t think your shopping elsewhere will worry the people of Lisburn. The shops will survive without your business.

You people are stuck in a time warp. So move n and get a life.
