Goodwill is lost in no time at all
ON Saturday morning my wife and I took our usual trip into Lisburn to shop, parking as always in the car park at the end of the Longstone Street.
After three hours, and having been unavoidably delayed by an eye test appointment, we were flabbergasted on our return to find a parking ticket for exceeding our time limit by 15 minutes.
I have duly paid the £30 fine but rest assured it will be a very long time before we ever return to shop in the City of Lisburn.
Goodwill takes a long time to build but it can be lost in an instance, or on this occasion, 15 minutes.
