New Minister is welcomed to Lisburn

Rev Mervyn Ewing, the new minister of Seymour Street Methodist Church, was welcomed by representatives from some of Lisburn’s city centre churches to his first summer epilogue service in Lisburn which on that evening (Sunday July 13) was held in Railway Street Presbyterian Church.

Previously minister of Jennymount Methodist Church, York Road, North Belfast, he conducted his first service at Seymour Street Methodist Church on Sunday morning (July 13).

Mr Ewing succeeds the Rev Brian Anderson who, after serving the Lisburn community for ten years, has moved to become the new minister of Wesley Centenary Methodist Church, Bangor.
