Moira contractor set to bring 20 jobs

Moira based specialist construction company McMullen Facades is set to bring up to 20 new jobs to the area as part of a new recruitment drive.

Having secured a number of major new contracts across the UK, the company, part of the Lakesmere Group, wants to expand its 80-strong factory team with new fabricators to work in its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Specialising in the manufacture, design and installation of glazing, unitised curtain walling and specialist facades, the company has recently secured a number of prestigious new contracts in the London residential high-rise market with circa £30m of new orders awarded this year to date.

The successful integration between the two companies has helped to build upon McMullen Facades’ 40 year heritage and impressive portfolio of projects which includes the Stirling prize-winning Evelyn Grace Academy in London and Obel, the tallest building in Ireland.

The addition of McMullen Facades’ specialist facade expertise has also established the Lakesmere Group as the only UK-based company to provide the full range of building envelope services.
