Man shot in hand in Moira

POLICE in Lisburn are appealing for information after a man was shot in the hand in the Graham Court area of Moira on Tuesday night, April 2.

At around 7.50pm police received a report that as a 55-year-old man got out of his car he was approached by two masked men, one of whom shot him in the hand.

He received treatment for his injury at hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact them at Lisburn on 0845 600 8000.
