Anyone who can help the police can also ring the Crimestoppers number which is 0800 555111. The accident occurred on the day that a paramedic issued an urgent call for motorists to take care on the roads in the run up to Christmas.
His call came after 13 crashes were reported in one day.
Davy Sands, from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, recorded a special message just minutes after saving two motorists following a serious crash on the Hillhall Road. He said: “Today there have been 13 road traffic collisions.
“Listen, I want everybody to have a happy Christmas and everybody to be sitting around that table.
“If you don’t hurry I will not have to hurry anywhere.
“So please people, please take care, especially at this time of year.”
