Man due in court after drugs find

A 29-YEAR-old man has been charged with possession of class B drugs, possession of class B drugs with intent to supply and obstructing police after herbal cannabis worth £2500 was discovered by Dunmurry police. The man is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates court later this month.

The drugs were recovered from a car stopped by officers at Pembroke Loop Road and during a subsequent house search at Colin Mill on Wednesday, August 24.

Inspector Mark Robinson said: “We are making good progress in identifying and charging those involved in the local drug trade and we are grateful for the support we get from the community and from local representatives.”
