Man arrested for possessing knife
Just before 8pm on Thursday June 11 CCTV Operators received a report from police of two males who had been making their way to the City Centre and that one of the males was seen to be concealing a Stanley knife.
CCTV Staff were able to identify the males from the CCTV footage and police were informed.
A description of the pair was circulated and we were then informed by a CityWatch member using their radio link that the two males were leaving a store and making their way onto Bow Street.

Hide AdPolice were informed and directed to the males who were then stopped.
Both males were searched and a Stanley Knife was recovered from one of the males who was then arrested for Possession of an item with a blade or point.
