Lord Lieutenant of Down opens ‘Lest We Forget’ exhibition

The Lord Lieutenant of Down, Mr David Lindsey attended the opening of Hillsborough Old Guard `Lest we Forget` WW1 Exhibition at The Sextons House, Hillsborough Parish Church recently.

This exhibition details the men and women from the Hillsborough area from the Home Rule Crisis to those who served in the Great War.

Also on display there is Weaponry, Uniforms and Medals from WW1.

The Exhibition will be open each Saturday 10am – 4pm and each Sunday 1pm – 5pm and at other times by appointment.

Admission is free and Hillsborough Old Guard can also open for groups by appointment contact [email protected].
