Jonathan and Lynne McCabe, who run Lisnacurran Country House in Lisburn are celebrating after picking up the ‘Most Beautifully Presented’ award at the eviivo Awards.
The lucky pair and their team fought off fierce competition from nine properties on their way to glory, after being shortlisted among more than 5,900 earlier in the process.
Organised by eviivo, the leading provider of booking management solutions, the annual ceremony celebrates the UK’s best and most unique B&Bs, guesthouses and independent small hotels.
Judges said “the property’s décor is a colourful palette of interesting articles collected by this husband and wife team”, adding that “their designs are beautifully bold, highlighted by their patriotic green AGA”.
The B&B’s website was also praised, with judges applauding its eclectic and joyful photography.
Jonathan and Lynne were presented with their award by Sophie Robinson, the acclaimed interior design expert and television presenter, in front of an audience of 200 guests at Shakespeare’s Globe in London, which hosted the glitzy occasion.
Mrs McCabe, said: “This is fantastic and we’re all so very happy to have won. Ultimately, it’s all about providing our guests with the best possible experience, and the whole team works very hard day in day out to make sure that happens. Yet, there’s no denying that being recognised by your peers is extremely satisfying.”
