Lisburn staff help Gordon's to raise £17,274

Gordons Chemists latest fundraising drive helped them smash through the £200K mark for the charity.

The partnership between Action Cancer and Gordons, now in its eighth year, has been hailed a roaring success to date.

Staff have engaged in a variety of fundraising activities over the years, including sponsored cycles, raffles, onesie-to-work days and of course they donned their pink wigs and tutus throughout October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Gillian Thomson, Corporate Fundraising Officer with the charity, said, “The generosity shown by the customers and staff at Gordons Chemists has yet again been truly inspiring.

“Every year, Gordons Chemists play a massive role in the work we do both in terms of raising funds and raising awareness, especially throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“We are so grateful to everyone at Gordons for their continuous support of Action Cancer since 2007, and to smash a £200,000 total in the eighth year of the partnership is amazing.”
