Lisburn school choirs to take to the stage of the Waterfront Hall

The festive season is now getting well underway and the choirs from two local schools have a lot to look forward to this Christmas.

The choir from Friends School Lisburn Prep and the Friends Singers from Friends School, Lisburn, as well as the choir from Pond Park Primary School, who were crowned Junior School Choir of the Year in April, will be taking to the stage of the Waterfront Hall in Belfast next month.

Pond Park Primary School scooped the Junior Section of the BBC School Choir of the Year competition when the 60-pupil strong choir sang two beautiful pieces ‘Colours of the Wind’ and ‘Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines’ during a live performance at the Ulster Hall earlier this year.
