Lisburn retailer to sell off showroom stock for upholstery manufacturer

VALE Bridgecraft, which manufactures quality upholstery, has announced it is to close its showroom in Lisburn by the end of May.

Vale Upholstery was established in the west Riding of Yorkshire in 1947. Bridgecraft was started in 1935 in a small workshop in Leeds, and was originally called Bridge Upholstery.

The company opened a showroom in Lisburn at Lissue Industrial Estate, in 2004 to support local retailers and to enable the public to see a wide selection of the Vale bridgecraft products.

Although the showroom will be closed Vale Bridgecraft upholstery will still be available in shops throughout Northern Ireland.

Local retailer Smyth Pattersons have been authorised to sell off the showroom stock in a clearance sale running from Saturday 12th to Saturday 19th May at the premises at Rathdown Close, Lissue Industrial Estate.
